Born and raised… 3rd generation in Hawaii I have lived on the East side of the Big Island for over 40 years. My husband, Mick is a videographer and has been documenting Kilauea volcano for over 30 years. Copies of our documentaries, VolcanoScapes are available for viewing and purchasing. Mick captured amazing footage of the 2018 Summer eruption. It was an amazing time for us and we are so glad to be back in the home we treasure. We love our Island of Hawaii and enjoy sharing many of the special place and things to do on our beautiful island. We want to make sure your stay is enjoyable and you are comfortable during your stay.

Planning a trip to lower Puna to experience the beauty of the Big Island? This could be your perfect home base for a Hawaiian Vacation! Tucked away on a private gated estate surrounded by the luscious foliage of Leilani Estates, this 1 bedroom duplex sleeps 4 adults comfortably. It is the lower level of a duplex… we are very friendly long-time residents with vast knowledge of the Big Island and the 2018 eruption that effected us for 6 months. We are now back and have put lots of love back into our property. We live on the property and want to make sure you have a great time while visiting in our area. We respect your privacy to make sure you have a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Held in our cement water tank located in the front lanai. Our water is rain water (lovely for your skin) that has been pumped through a particulate filter and also treated with ultra-violet light so it is drinkable and delicious from the faucets.
Zen and Zeppelin
Zen and Zeppelin are Bouvier des Flandres that live on the property. They are sister and Very friendly and happy to guard the property for treats.
Gardens
Tucked away on a private gated estate surrounded by the luscious foliage of Puna. Garden paths and open areas to enjoy. Scattered around the property are gold fish ponds.
Accomodations
Large open living space with garden views out every window. Full kitchen with everything you need for great cooking at home. High-speed wifi, 50-inch flat screen TV, comfortable beds, private lanai.

Laundry Area is located in the second garage where your car is parked. There is laundry soap and stain remover there for your use.
Feel free to use the facilities at any time.

Cancellation Policy
Guests get a full refund if they cancel up to 5 days before check-in.
House Rules
- Please keep sliding doors closed to keep mosquitos out.
- No furniture may be removed or brought in.
- We would appreciate lights and anything electrical to be turn off when you leave.
- Appreciate quiet after 10am.
